"It is the voice of the church that is heard in singing together. It is not I who sing, but the church. However, as a member of the church, I may share in its song."
- Dietrich Bonhoeffer
Grace Covenant Choir: The choir includes adults and some youth who are committed to high standards of choral singing. Repertoire covers a wide range of musical styles. The choir sings every Sunday for the 10:30 AM service and occasionally for the 8:30 AM service and various special events. Rehearsals are held Wednesdays, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM.
Covenant Ringers: Our handbell ensemble is for adults and high school age youth. Basic music reading skills are necessary as well as the ability to commit to weekly rehearsals. Rehearsals are Mondays at 5:30 PM.
Vocal Ensembles: From time to time vocal ensembles provide music during worship. Singers are generally drawn from members of the Grace Covenant Choir.
Instrumental Ensembles: From time to time instrumental ensembles provide music during worship. On Easter Day and other festive occasions instrumental forces help to support congregational and choir singing and may provide other music during worship. Players are sometimes members of the church and sometime are hired professionals.
Treble Choir: Children in school grades 2 - 5 provide vocal music for worship a few times during the year. Children also explore playing Orff instruments, handbells and rhythm instruments. Rehearsals are Sundays, 5-6 PM in the choir room. Contact Jeff Jones for more information.
Cherub Choir: Children ages 4-1st grade will meet for music exploration and introduction to various instruments. This group will provide music for worship a few times each year. Rehearsals are Sundays 5-6 PM in the Temple Room. Contact Jeff Jones for more information.
