The GCPC Youth Group is a fun, dynamic, and inclusive program centered around exciting opportunities for fellowship, mission, faith building, and leadership. Youth group is a place to come exactly as you are and be welcomed into a community of fellow young people and adults exploring what it means to be Christian in today's world. Youth Group "Earth Day Vigil & Ice Cream Fun" | Sunday, April 23 | 4:40 PM - 7 PM | Downtown (Meet/Pick up at Jubilee! Community (46 Wall Street)
We are excited to participate in a community Earth Vigil downtown to celebrate our commitment to caring for our creation! Meet at Jubilee! for healthy snacks, fellowship, and a sound check. After the vigil, we will get ice cream together and play games. Pick up will be at Jubilee!. Bring $ for ice cream (scholarships available) and let Samantha know if you need a ride from GCPC. See you there!
Please note for Confirmation youth: We will be having our separate "Confirmation Fun Day" the same day (April 23) from 2pm-7:30ish.
Youth Adventure Day! | Saturday, April 29| 10:30 AM -7:00 PM | Camp Grier (Old Fort) | GCPC discounted cost $10
Register HERE by Mon. April 17th and let the adventure begin! The Presbytery of Western North Carolina & Camp Grier are inviting youth from across our presbytery to a Middle School & High School adventure day that includes: canoeing, climbing wall, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, and more. This will be our youth group event for the weekend. Full scholarships available.
Volunteer Registrations are HERE for Marketplace, Vacation Bible School THIS SUMMER..and we need YOU! This is a great opportunity to work with children, help with crafts, deliver bread, etc! Get any needed volunteer hours! All interested youth, please fill out an application and turn it in to Sherrie by May 21st! You can print one here or pick them up in the info station at church.
