global partnerships

  • GCPC's sister church, Iglesia Presbiteriana Jerusalem (Jerusalem Church) is located in Coatepeque, a city in southwest Guatemala a short drive from the border with Mexico. For over 20 years, our churches have built close ties through visits both in Coatepeque and Asheville. These are deep relationships based on our shared faith and our response to the call to join as brothers and sisters in Christ. Projects we have worked on together include creating gardens, home repair and construction, and educational scholarships for elementary and high school students. We always learn from each other new ways of being in ministry in our communities.
