SERVE (outreach)

young adult volunteers

Hands and Feet of Asheville is a year long, progressive, Ecumenical Christian service program for young adults to pursue their passions, serve others, build community, and explore faith. Throughout the year, participants clarify their own sense of meaning and purpose and discern their sense of call through direct service at a local non-profit, living in intentional community, and reflecting on their experiences. Volunteers leave the year with concrete skills and inspiration for a lifetime of caring.

Our Mission

We are shifting the focus from doing mission to being in mission with others.

We believe that transformational mission is most often experienced through relationships; therefore Hands and Feet of Asheville is working with young adults to create an opportunity for building meaningful relationships with God, with the world, and with one another.

Through direct service, intentional community, and theological reflection, we aim to cultivate a sense of meaning and purpose that is informed by faith and is carried on for a lifetime.
