Racial Justice

During the 2019-2020 program year, the Racial Justice Book Series will meet quarterly. Come and join us for all discussions or for just one or two. All are welcome, whether you have read closely or are just interested in learning more about the subject. A copy of the book can be found in the church library.

Racial Justice Book Series | Thursday, November 14 | 7:00 PM | Jerusalem Rm
For November, we are reading My Grandmother’s Hands: Racialized Trauma and the Pathway to Mending our Hearts and Bodies by Resmaa Menakem.

Women's Book Series

Check back in December for a preview of the Winter Women’s Memoir Series.

“My story is important not because it is mine, God knows, but because if I tell it, chances are you will recognize that in many ways it is also yours… it is precisely through these stories in all their particularity, as I have long believed and often said, that God becomes known to each of us more powerfully and personally.”

~ Frederick Buechner
